We have received lots of emails and calls about data readouts and things missing (not on sonar display) after Lowrance software updates. This is only happening (?) on the touchscreen HDS and Elite Ti units. Below is fix-er-uppers for the issues we know about. Please be careful and back-up waypoints, routes and trails as needed. These fix-er-uppers are for the Lowrance touchscreen HDS and Elite Ti units ONLY.
Missing all waypoints, Readouts, etc. (make sure transducer is plugged into unit.)
Push these
Page >>
Settings >>Restore Defaults. Caution: Only have top 3 boxes checked. You will lose data
by checking other boxes. Turn off other
units if on network. Than push OK. Unit
may restart.
To Re add/add Overlay readouts: Push Power >>Edit Overlay >>Menu Than add or edit as needed. Don't forget to save.

Missing just Temperature readout on screen.

If only dash marks for Temperature (- - -) show in screen. No Dash marks? Page up to Missing all.

Settings >> Network >> Data Source. Hit (Open) Water Temperature drop
down menu and check box (or choose device if networked - optional). Please Note: This is the window (Data Source) to set and/or select
your different device data to be displayed.
Hit X top right
to exit out.
Auto Hide MENU (Menu on right will auto hide in 15
seconds.)

Settings >> Advanced >> User Interface. Push on/off to activate or deactivate Auto Hide Menu.
HDS Gen-3 Update BOO BOO (sonar version omitted by mistake)
Just an FYI! On the HDS Gen-3 update, the Sonar Version
was omitted by mistake. This will not affect the performance of your
sonar unit. It will read 0.0.0 on the About Page. Lowrance will fix this on the
next Software update.
