Updated 2017 - Muskie from Green Bay biggest ever?

John Grover (Green Bay) Musky measures 64 inches

  John caught this 64-inch muskie at the mouth of Green Bay on May 9 while fishing for walleye. Yes the season for Muskie was not open yet but, is this proof that a world record Muskie may be out their? Using 17-pound mono-filament line, he fought it for almost an hour, and blew out his reel in the process. Finally, he was able to tire this muskie out, and face landed him using gloves because he didn’t want to damage the fish. Grover brought the fish to shore briefly, took a picture with the giant and after a few minutes of reviving the giant specimen, let her go back into the water.
